The DFC Membership Drive Has Begun – Become a Member Today!

Our Store Our Products our Community

Have you noticed the growing number of people with an interest in nourishing themselves, their families, and their communities with healthful foods which have traveled the shortest distance possible?  Well, you are not alone.

Join us NOW to help make the dream a reality.  We need local families who share our vision to become members in order to secure a location and open our doors. By joining now, you become an owner and founder of this legacy.

Our store •  Our products • Our community

Why?

  • To give our farmers a consistent and reliable marketplace for their products, to be sold at a fair value so that farmland can be maintained (and even expanded)
  • To give us access to freshly-picked, nutrient-dense produce, pasture-grazed meat, eggs and dairy, as well as bulk grains and dry goods
  • To provide a place for our members to vote with their food dollars and help shape our community’s future health
  • To reduce our impact  on the environment and help to retain the unique and historical character of our community
  • Because national statistics show that 70 cents of every dollar spent at a Co-op goes back into supporting the local community

When?

Our goal is to open our doors by May 2012. The show of membership support from the community may enable us to do that earlier.

Where?

We hope to open in the Borough, but may need to go into Doylestown Township based on suitable site evaluations (space, parking, cost etc.)

How?

Go to our website and click on “Become a member”! or go directly to the membership form. Come out and support us at our Membership Kick-off event on May 12 at the County Theater! Click here for more info on the event and how to get tickets.

And we need you to make it happen!

We need board members, committee members, and general volunteer support and of course, we need you to become an owner of the Doylestown Co-op.
