About
I am a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and I have had the opportunity to work and train with some of the finest pastry chefs in the world. I have been making my cakes for more than 25 years.
I started Doug’s Cakes in 2009. Doug’s Cakes are specialty cakes made to order with fresh ingredient and are like no other cakes you have ever experienced. In addition to my cakes I offer Cup Cakes, Cup Cake Trees, Baked Alaskas and Puffs.
My offerings are flavored with Amaretto, Rum and Hazelnut and Coffee liqueurs. My menu consists of Chocolate Amaretto Cake with Shaved Chunk Chocolates and Sliced Almonds, Baked Alaska with Hazelnut Liqueur Ice Cream, Vanila Rum with Fresh Fruit Cake and Chocolate Coffee Liqueur Cake with Chopped Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans. My Cup Cakes are double-iced and are available in all my cake flavors. And my Puffs are filled with a mousse-style liqueur-flavored cream and dipped in chocolate and finished with a variety of nuts and chocolates. Cup Cake trees are also available for parties and catering for any event.
Additional Information
Doug’s Cakes will deliver to your home or business free of charge within a 20 mile radius of my bakery in Chalfont, PA. Delivery arrangements can be made for areas outside of this radius as well. However, charges may apply.
